And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest.
(Luke 8:15)

(early dinner) together after the service.
an English-speaking congregation (ESC) under the Pistos Korean Presbyterian Church.
We are here to have fellowship with every one of you in Jesus Christ. As our Lord Jesus did, we make it one of our utmost goals to be with you and help you discover purpose, meaning, and abundance in life (John 10:10), preparing you as Jesus’ disciple in spreading His Word.
LSF seeks the spirit of the House Church that strives to learn from the model churches in the New Testament. We would love to share our House Church stories with you!
We meet to worship God every Sunday afternoon at our church, located in Oakland on a beautiful hill overlooking the San Francisco Bay. We welcome everyone to join us in our worship service and other activities.

Living Seed Fellowship (LSF) is part of the Pistos Korean Presbyterian Church (PKPC) and represents an English-speaking congregation (ESC). LSF is located on a beautiful hill in Oakland, looking down the San Francisco (SF) Bay.
We are here to reach the people of the SF Bay Area for Christ and make Jesus Christ’s disciples of them (Matthew 28:18-20). Also, LSF is a church designed to help you discover purpose, meaning, and abundance in life (John 10:10), preparing you as God’s disciple and a good member of society.
LSF’s foundation is on Biblical teaching and God Himself, nothing else. We believe God’s Words in the Bible can “give us a rich and satisfying life” (John 10:10).
Also, LSF follows the spirit of the House Church that strives to learn from the model churches in the New Testament; we are happy to share our House Church stories with you!
(John 4:23; Romans 12:1)
God is looking for those who worship Him in spirit and truth. In John 4:23, Jesus said, “But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.” If God’s eyes are on someone who worships Him, wouldn’t you want to be that person? In the Living Seed Fellowship (LSF), we worship God in spirit, which is to worship with the help of the Holy Spirit, not relying on emotion or the passion of the flesh (the feeling will simply follow if we worship in spirit). LSF people worship God in truth, which is the living Words of God, not based on our thoughts.
LSF members worship God not only at church together but also in their daily life based on Romans 12:1. It is written: “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.” LSF members try hard to give their feet, hands, and whole body to be used in worshiping the Father God. If our friends need us during the week, we will visit them and encourage them – this is to give our body as a living sacrifice, the true way to worship our Father.
(Matthew 28:18-20)
Jesus said, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).
We believe the House Church Ministry (HCM), an international organization with its headquarters based in Houston, Texas, provides one of the best ways to obey Jesus’ command in Matthew 28. Indeed, numerous testimonies demonstrated HCM has been effective in preaching the Gospel and making disciples worldwide. In addition, HCM has opened a door for laymen’s super-active participation in the church ministry. Lay leaders in HCM serve a small (typically 5-12 people) congregation in their homes (Acts 2:46), which are used as centers for inviting non-believers or seekers. The Living Seed Fellowship (LSF) follows the spirit of HCM tightly and tries to go beyond.
Jesus wanted disciples to make other disciples: “You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others” (2 Timothy 2:2). This disciple-making strategy is truly amazing, and we hope that LSF is used as God’s trustworthy instrument for making disciples.

(John 10:10)
We want everyone in LSF to discover a rich and satisfying life through participation in house churches, as Jesus promised in the Bible. In John 10:10, Jesus said, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” If Jesus came to give people a rich and satisfying life, shouldn’t we make it our goal to help people discover and live abundant and satisfying life? LSF helps people find Jesus’ purpose of giving them abundant and satisfying life through the house church ministry. When we meet in a small congregation in our house churches, we become God’s instrument to each other for the discovery of a rich and satisfying life.
